Zara coat and loafers/ Topshop fluffy top/ H&M hat/ Proenza Schouler bag (get it HERE)

Even though our schedule was pretty hectic during our stay in Milan, we managed to squeeze a little bit of a free time in between all of the fashion shows, events and presentations. So on a beautiful sunny afternoon we decided to spend a few hours just simply walking around Milan, enjoying the delicious cappuccino, sit on the stairs of Duomo and simply enjoy the vibe of the city. Of course after all those fabulous looks, I decided to go for a much more comfortable one, but I still kept it chic and stylish, with my favorite H&M hat and THE bag by one and only- Monnier Freres!
Have an amazing Friday everyone!

What's in my bag- fashion week edition

Thursday, February 27, 2014

Since I just spent a few days in Milan for fashion week, I decided to share with you my main essentials for running around fashion shows all day long. If there’s one thing that I’ve learned it’s keepin’ it light. I remember the first time I came to Milan for fashion week and I packed my bag with so many unnecessary items, so that I was dragging around a big heavy bag that left me sore and tired. So therefore I try to stick with smaller bags, that won’t allow me to bring so many things, just like this Proenza Schouler bag from Monnier Freres, that travelled with me to Milan this time. So here are some of my fashion week essentials:

my phone: Instagram, emails, phonecalls, map, etc. Aka I’m pretty much lost without it!

- a planner: I have two, and I’d normally use the bigger and brighter one, but in case it won’t fit the bag, my little one works just fine.

sunglasses: Not only they protect my eyes, but they are also my number one accessory that I can’t imagine leaving my house without.

a compact mirror: Especially when I’m wearing a lipstick, this baby is a must!

hair ties: No real explanation behind them, besides that sometime I like to change my hairstyle in the middle of the day.

-business cards: to stay professional of course :)

- snacks and chewing gums: If there’s enough space the bottle of water comes along as well, but I always make sure to keep my tummy full and my breath fresh.

-last but not least, there’s a special product I’d like to talk about and it’s NIVEA Q10 roll-on:

It’s a product that I’ve discovered some time ago and I’ve been using it ever since. With it’s light and hydrating formula it’s used under your eyes and it reduces the signs of puffiness, fatigue and the appearance of under eyes wrinkles and what is (for me) the most important, it makes you feel much more fresh and awake. And believe me, after running around all day long, this baby was a life savior!

Have a great day everyone!

Milan fashion week day three

Alice Bossman cape and dress/ Furla bag (get it HERE)/ Zara shoes/ Celine sunglasses

Milan fashion week is officially over and I'm back in Ljubljana, feeling really tired but so incredibly inspired and fully motivated to work even harder! As you can tell all of my fashion week looks were quite different and for the last day I went for the whole white look, wearing this AMAZING Alice Bossman heart cape, that I've fallen in love with the first moment I saw it. Paired with Alice Bossman white dress I believe the whole look came out quite girly but yet really chic and interesting, especially when paired with this gorgeous Furla bag, that of course I have to thank Monnier Freres for!
Speaking of Milan fashion week, the last day I got a chance to see Dsqaured2 fashion show and I think "Iwouldweareverysinglepiecefromtheircollection!" pretty much sums up how incredible the show was! :)

Milan fashion week day 2

Nina Šušnjara coat/ Choies skirt/ Zara pumps and clutch

When I received this gorgeous green skirt, I knew it was coming to Milan with me, so for my second look, I decided to bring this baby around the city. I paired it with another amazing piece from my favorite Nina Šušnjara (how freakin' amazing is this silver coat?!) and with some of my basic accessories, since I think my hairstyle was quite an accessory itself!
How do you like it? :)
Have a great day everyone!

Milan fashion week day one

Nina Šušnjara suit/ Nara Camicie shirt/ Roberto Cavalli clutch (get it HERE)/ Zara pumps/Celine sunglasses

The first fashion day is behind us and I don't even know where to begin! From different shows, presentations, running from one place to another, having an amazing Italian pizza to simply enjoying the city. Let's start with my killin' outfit - a bright blue suit by Nina Šušnjara that definitely caught a lot of attention. I decided to tone it down with my favorite black Zara pumps and spice it up with the amazing Roberto Cavalli clutch that I received thank't to Monnier Freres and that was a perfect accessory to attend the Roberto Cavalli show, that was definitely a highlight of the day. It left me speechless and quite hot, I must confess, with the real fire burning on the runway, that made the whole collection even more fierce and strong!

The last couple of days have been craaazy, as always before the fashion week, and since we are leaving for Milan tomorrow, taking outfit photos was actually the last thing on my mind. So with all things that still need to be done, I'm leaving you with a few photos from my Instagram account (@magnifiqueblog), that despite my busy schedule I try to keep up with as much as possible!

Before the storm

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

Topshop coat and jeans/ Zara top/ H&M earrings

You know how they say the sun always shines after the rain or how when one door closes another one opens? Well, I've never really paid attention to these type of quotes until now, when for some reason I became a living proof of how things always turn out okay, even though that means you have to go through many challenges and disappointments. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and after a few really though days, I'm ready for a big fashion storm that is coming up...a good one of course!
Stay tuned!

Different accessory

Sheinside shirt/ Zara vest and pants/ Celine sunglasses (similar HERE)/ Randa shoes

This weekend my man and I decided to escape the reality and spend it at our summer house at the coast, recharging and getting ready for the upcoming busy weeks. We had an amazing time, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, with spring in the air, that of course required a bit more floral and fresh look, which was a great change after all those chunky knits and heavy coats. Of course whenever I take a weekend off, one of the main things that come along with me are magazines, that are still my favorite way of keeping up with fashion, since no online magazine could replace a feeling of turning pages of a brand new printed one. This time it was ELLE Slovenia that kept me company, but not only it was a great distraction it also turned out as a perfect accessory, so I decided to ditch the bag and use a magazine instead. How do you like it? :)
Have a great day everyone!
